Well, to all those who have been patiently waiting, they are finally here!!

IMG_3954.jpeg

These are nice and slim pocket sheaths for your E2.5. They take up very little room in your pocket. I utilized thicker veg-tan leather than with the 3.0. Some other changes are the square bottom and wet forming on the inside of the sheath. There is a partial welt and the 2.5 fits snug and stays in place for all your flip and cartwheeling needs. The edges are dyed to complement the chrome-tanned overlay. There are options for grommet and clip color in next post. :)

A few more photos.

So…not the greatest news…

I was just about to sit down to make a few of these and had a thought…and yes, my thought was correct. Josh improved the scales on the newer E2.5 (like Pat9198 has in his photo) and they are thicker than the versions I have.
Luckily, Josh has some “spare” scales for the new E2.5 so he is going to be sending them to me. This will make sure that these new pocket sheaths will actually fit your E2.5.

This coulda been bad news…thank goodness I realized the blunder.

So I need a bit more information from you guys. Can you tell me the version you have of the E2.5? A photo will also suffice if you are unsure of your model. If you bought it off the last drop then it is the thicker handle scales.

Unfortunately, the postal service is pretty slow right now, so I am sad to say that this pockets sheath will be a little longer in the making. If you would like to opt out because of the wait, I will understand. I apologize for my oversight.

Wow, This is great! I’m in for one. I have a pre-last drop version in CocoCrew.
I’m thinking brown, pewter grommet, will you have any pewter clips or something that’s not shiny? What do you think I should go with for the thread, green to match the bead, or tan to match the scales?
