Pre Shipping Treatment for Damascus Blade

I will be shipping a Damascus fixed blade knife overseas. What should I treat the blade with? I have Frog Lube, Camellia oil, Renaissance wax, carnauba wax. I intend to place the knife in a zippered knife bag. Thank you in advance.... Calhoon

This is what I use on all mine, but they are all kitchen knives and food safety is a concern.

Forgive my utter ignorance, but why that oil specifically?

We wipe all the carbon steel blades down with mineral oil and wrap in brown paper,

I’ve used Breakfree CLP on 1,000s. Works great. Wipe it on heavy and then wipe off.

It’s a natural oil
Non toxic
Doesn’t turn rancid
Used on kitchen knives, appropriate for all knives
