pre1982 Schrade 34OT

I was helping an Amish friend move.
Behind his desk, I found two 34OT's marked $8.
He said the fact the price was written in ink& not a sticker means they were from before 1982.
I bought the both at that price.
My gf & the quad said I'm "turning into a knife nut".
