Once in a millenium, I stumble across a really, really good deal. Here is my $96.01 leather spacered, 1961 barrel nut 119. The leather spacers are the earliest 100 series knive made after incorporation on April 7, 1961. Several interesting things about the knife. The phenolic handle is about 25% thicker than any other barrel nut I have and the blood groove (I know, DM--fuller) is a different shape than other barrel nuts I have. It may not thrill anyone else, but I am delighted.
Oh, one other little detail, here is the pommel before Joe and his superb staff cleaned it up.
