Well, it's been over a year of searching for a companion to the one, 'The Precious', but I've found it.
Thanks to Cobalt and 360Joules, I was able to work a deal for my ultimate Busse, a Straight Handled Steel Heart, aka, 'The Precious-Too'.
This fine thing has had a Siegle nose job and a 360Joules coating strip that makes it so ready for business...
So today, while grilling out in my backyard, I decided to use the Precious-TOO to split a chunk of hickory for the smoker...
I used a wood baton to set her up... then pounded her straight through...
Still Shaving Sharp after the hickory nibble...
No baton was injured in the splitting of this chunk...
I had to learn my limitations... This next chunk was a little too wide for me to get enough blade to baton on, eventhough it doesn't look like it from this angle - my baton was really too small to apply enough force... and, since I didn't really need the wood for my project, I decided to quit before I hurt myself, because the INFI is GOOD TO GO!!!
Thanks for looking! And thanks, Jerry, for making such an AWESOME FREAKIN' KNIFE!!!!
