anyone have them? ive been spoiled i guess by using precision ground O1 so far. i have no access to a surface grinder so i would prefer steel that is already ground to size (ie, no scale/pitting etc)

primarily i would like ATS34, 440C, maybe something from crucible?

thanks

I didn't know it was hard to find. All mine so far, ATS-34 and s30v, has been sold to me as precision ground and it measures that way. Lets see? The ATS-34 I got from Sheffield. The s30v from Crucible. The s30v comes with a thin crust on it (for lack of a more proper word) but measures very well with the digital caliper. Be sure though to specify precision ground to make sure that's what you get.

found last night that sheffields has lots of PG stainless's. prices seem ok too. how about their quality of steels?

you can buy direct from crubible? isnt there some minimum purchase?

HI
I have been suing PG D2 and it is great, but I am going to try the blanchard ground for fixed blades to save some money?

The one order I made to Sheffield for steel; the steel came to me drop shipped from the vendor.
