Hi,
you must of been asked this a thousand times, so please excuse my ignorance as search did not work.

I would like to know the manufacturer of the knife as used by billy in the "predator 1" film.
the long blade almost like a parang that he used to possibly attack the predator and did cut himself across the chest with when he was on the fallen tree bridge scene.

just interested to know, as this looks like an awesome blade, but is about 15 years out of production, if ever mass produced.

i think the closest i have got is it is by "frost" but i am unsure.

Any links to sites who have this blade/knife would be helpful.

TIA

The maker of the knives in that movie was Jack Crain of Texas. You are correct that Frost cutlery made a factory version. I do know of someone who has one available for sale. The Frost version.

Search the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly section of this forum before commissioning a knife from Crain. Some folks have had bad experiences.

It prolly was sold years ago ;)

the devil came and took him

that frost thing is such crap....:barf:

The Crain model is super nice, but crain is a jerk and a thief.

Would it be wrong to ask one of the makers on this forum to duplicate that sweet blade?

Would that be copyright infringement, or is it OK if it's not mass produced?

Jack Crain is a thief, so screw him and I doubt the Production company cares as long as it isn't referenced and sold as a Predator knife, so go ahead.

Just get a HI Ang Khola Bowie or a Busse Battle Mistress kid, and save the pretend knives for imaginationland.
