I’m only at four tool arms and safely storing them already becoming a chore.

Does anyone have a suggestion on a solution to store tool arms vertically? I’ve seen the Beaumont system, but that’s more of a horizontal storage system, and wouldn’t handle my surface grinder attachment very well without modification, and taking up a lot of room.

I haven’t welded in over twenty years, so I’d like to find a prefab, or bolt together system. 😂

Make a rack that is similar to the ones for fishing poles on fishing trucks. make it from thin-wall conduit or PVC.

You can weld up square tubing at a 45° to 60° angle to a bar of steel that screws/bolts to the wall and made a rack the arms stick in at an upward angle. Not quite vertical but takes up less space than a vertical or horizontal rack. You can weld 1/2" bolts along the sides of the tubes to stick wheels on and such. Even an inexperienced person with a cheap HF welder can build this as it doesn't need to be pretty.

A low budget version of either vertical or angular can be made in an hour or less from 2X4 and 2X8 lumber for less than $10.

I'll try and draw up plans for both styles later, and take some photos.
