Prefer the plastic clip?

Anyone else prefer the old style plastic pocket clip on the Delica & Endura?
I prefer the faster draw the plastic clip offers.

While I can't really say I PREFER the plastic clip, I don't hold the opinion that the old style clip was vastly inferior to the new metal ones. I am a tip up kinda guy and always liked the plastic clips.

I have carried several Delicas and an Endura for many years (still do) and have never bent or broken a clip. (Just lucky?) As a matter of fact, I just returned from a gun/knife show today in Indy where I purchased a NIB old-style Delica plain blade. One of the better deals I've made in a long time. (Thy guy said everyone wants the metal, clip!) This one may go in the lock box as an investment. In a few years these may have some value.

Are you interested in making a quick profit and selling it now?

I'm looking for a new plain edge plastic clip Delica?
 
With my plastic-clipped Delica, I never worry about scratching anything that I might happen to brush up against. I had a Calypso Jr. for awhile and, whenever I carried it, I was worried as hell that I'd scratch the paint on my car or tear the upholstery on the couch. I'll take the plastic clip, thanks.
 
I prefer the plastic clip too,
for all the above reasons.
However, I think we're in the minority.

The ProGrip still has the plastic clip, but with
the rubber backing it doesn't slide in and out of
the pocket like the old styles.

Hi
i had 2 Enduras with plastic clip and liked them much (never any problem with the clip)but my wife and my dad liked them more so they are gone.
the plastic clip realy "helped" the fingers to bring the knife out of the pocket.
 
I like the fact that I can remove the metal clip if I want to. Less bulk for back pocket carry.

Alot of peaple must prefer the plastic clip becuase i cant get anyone to sell me a Delica or Endura with the plastic clip!

All i want is a plain edge Delica with a plastic clip, and a 50/50 Endura with a plastic clip.

If I still had one of the damned things, I would be glad to sell it to you, but I lost all of them when the clips bent or stretched out and I lost them out of my pockets. I hated those damned plastic clips! They must have cost me at least three Delicas and one Endura!
