Preferred Carry System

Hey guys, what is your preferred carry system (dropleg, tek lok, etc) for the different size blades you have? Basically I have a dropleg for my HR and HH, but they are kind of heavy and swing around a little when I run, or roll around. I would post pics but my camera just broke. Any unusual carry systems out there? Post em!

Like you, I have found the low-ride/drop-leg option to be sub-optimal for the same reasons. My NARK and MrS have mid-height belt clips and are much more convenient.

Ian Allomes has the best idea, I think. I've requested one just like it for my Force One.

Right now I'm carrying my HH and ST Ripper in Spec-Ops Survival sheaths strapped to the PALS webbing with MALICE clips, on a Maxpedition Monsoon gearslinger. Great for throwing in the rig and for hiking and camping I hope.

This setup below is the one true love for me, I miss this, but intend on getting another from Dwayne @ Armoralleather for my ST Ripper. I like it horizontal at the small of my back.

For very long blades I like low ride or drop leg, usually with a paracord leg tie to keep it from flopping around so much. The tie helps a lot even with the normal low ride. If I want them to ride high then a cross draw set up is optimal as it keeps the handle out of my ribs. Ians multi carry rig is getting popular! I put that on everything from high ride to drop leg! :D

Medium length knives I favor a mid to high ride, if the handle is a biggun I will opt for the mid ride. Again, that multi carry thing is good for them as well, it also allows for strapping the sheath to a pack or rigging it with a shoulder strap.

Smaller knives I prefer a high ride or X loop for horizontal carry options. When I carry around town its nice to be able to cover the knife with my arm if I get the feeling I'm being scrutinized. :o I also I like IWB for smooth handled knives, I tried with the EDC handle knives and it can be a very "touchy" experience.

I'll list more as I come up with them, I'm running on one cuppa coffee so far so the brain is still a little foggy. :o
