  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I took the little guy out for a spin today lol! I have a few pics and once I get them on my tablet I will attach them but I wanted to write a short opinion of what I think so far... To me the overall feel of the WoodKarver is fantastic. The craftsmanship is the typical top notch quality we are accustomed to with John's great knives. The handle length is great, not too short at all as might have been a potential concern for some and the aesthetics are killer! The only possible thought I had before hand was about the blade length. I thought that it might have been too long. I thought i might want the blade 2 3/8 instead of 2 3/4. What I realized after today is that it is perfect the way it is. There would be no advantage for it to be 3/8 of an inch shorter. To me that was great news because the knife looks and feels perfectly balanced and proportioned the way it is.

Thanks for your thoughts Johnny, I can't wait to give it a go.
