I really think Boker knocked it out of the park with this knife and now that they're venturing into a few higher end steels I'd love to see the Urban Trapper as a candidate for an upgrade. I really think a version running S30V or S35VN would be a hit and an honest competitor for knives like the ZT 0450 or Kizer Laconico Gemini. Anyone else interested in seeing a premium version of the Urban Trapper?

I'd like to see one in S35V also. I love my CF and the VG10 is easy to sharpen but I'd like to see some upgrades as well.

Personally, as much as iI love 440c and am still a fan of Boker as a whole, (minus the clip that comes with the ridgeback), I'd love Love LOVE to see Boker return to it's roots and make more "made in Germany" products, as well as outsource to spain, or greece, or somewhere in europe rather then China... I get the labor costs and such, just be nice to see more German made quality knives out there, especially under a reputable name like Boker, after the legacy German knives once were.

I would also then love to see them utilize their local european steel manufacturers more...

Do some in house 440c and Carbon runs still for certain basic and traditional models and what have you, but;
Sandvik for basic stainlesses in the standard (Magnum and lower end +) series'
ELMAX and m390 for upgraded models and limited runs.

steel, anything resonable will do. it's a light duty gentlemans folder.
I would like to see prime handle scales, buffalo horn, blond horn, polished premium woods.

made in germany would be nice as well. 250 to 300euro.

This sums up my thoughts on Boker exactly. Manufacturing in Europe with steel like Elmax, M390, etc.

The only problem is price to do so would probably not be competitive in the market.
