Preordered a Paramilitary 2, Estimates of When Knife May Arrive?

Today I preordered a Paramilitary 2 off of Knife Center because the knives were "Delayed by Manufacturer." When do you think the PM2s will be undelayed so I can get my hands on this amazing knife?

I know there's absolutely no guarantee of when the knife will arrive, however some of you may have experience with this. If so, could you give me an estimate? Thanks!
 
You could probably find some in stock before a pre order is filled by KC. In my experience that is. Just make sure to check the popular dealers daily and you should see some Para 2's pop up!
 
Sorry to tell you but you're not going to get a definitive date.

Check with Jim at Howe's - I think he has a couple of the brown S35v models in stock...

From when I have put in pre orders, I would give you a very solid estimate of 1 - 15 weeks. Should fall somewhere in that range.

Fisheater...we don't work there so we don't know man! Also like I said in your other thread, Knife Center probably doesn't definitively know either.
 
I actually checked, so take this for what it is worth, but you will be waiting EXACTLY 57 days, give or take 2-4 weeks.

Does the PM2 regularly go out and in of stock or is this a unique occurrence?

When they come back in stock, how long is it until they're back out of stock?

Another question, the "Earth Brown" PM2, is that a permanent thing or is it not going to be coming back into stock again?

Usually they're out of stock again fast. At some point I'm expecting their supply to keep up with our demand.

The earth browns are no longer being made, as far as I know. They must have just come across some.

I thought that may be the case. Doesn't really matter to me as I've never noticed a difference between S35VN and S30V and even if I did, I like the color black more.

I asked BladeHQ to email me when the knife comes back in stock. This would give me sufficient warning so I can get one before they're all out, no?

Do you happen to have an estimate of how often they come back in stock once they go out?

I don't know how often they get restocked or how many they normally get. The email is a good option. I think most people who want one have found them on the exchange by now so you'll probably have a good chance next time.
 
I measured the time from ordering my first Para 2 to getting it in my hand in 'other folding knives bought while I waited'. In my case, 2.
