Hi,

Allow me to show the work I'm actually finishing now (only have to sharpen it now).
Blade is forged from bearing steel, 160/35/4mm, etched in ferrum chloride. Handle is made of desert ironwood and bronze. Mounted on M4 screw and epoxy. Veg-tan leather sheath.

With all respect,
Leonid

I can't see pics on tapatalk, anyone else ?

edit --I was wrong it's quite incredible ! I pulled it up on the main site and very glad I did.
When you say bearing steel did you use a large bearing race? --edit

Sent via telegraph with the same fingers I use to sip whiskey.

Thank you. I didn't forge this blade. I'm sure the blacksmith forged it from rolled steel (mill bar? - not sure in translation) and this is classic russian steel used for bearings, bearing races. It has about 1%С, 1%Mn, 0,5%Si, 1,5%Cr. Is called in russian ШХ15СГ
