Started the day preparing some Korean BBQ short ribs for tomorrow’s dinner. First try following my mother-in-law’s recipe. A good opportunity to use some JKs. Anyone else making special food for the Game?

Looks good! I'm going to have to admit I don't remember the one in the second picture.

Picked it up off the bay about 3 years ago. Came from someone up in Montana who was selling off a few from your early work. Very thick handle, beautiful wood, feels great in the hand. That being said, the skinner is in a different league. It was perfect for roll cutting the ribs.

As John replied, the Kentucky Fieldmate. This one has Ebony scales. A very handy EDC blade.

I'm making some hot taco dip for the boys, but that's about it...

It is nice to see that skinner get some use.

I don't have any plans for tomorrow yet.

Much controversy about football this year. The season ended with a great game! And the Korean BBQ beef was great!!!

I did 10lbs of sweet n tangy wings, a big croc full of BBQ little smokies, habanero pepper jelly/cream cheese with crackers, chips and salsa and queso dip.

I also had a bunch of stuff for chili dogs, but I didn't even break that out as none of the kids wound up coming out.

Maggie and I will be eating good (unhealthy) for the rest of the week though,.

best
