Prepaid phone sevices

Does anyone have any experience with prepaid phone services that aren't Tracphone? I'm looking to switch to something other than Tracphone and I don't want to enter into a contract. I want the phone to make phone calls and receive phone calls, and do it somewhat reliably while not costing a fortune.

I have a couple friends that use Droid Tracfones and they like them just fine. A few friends use Boost mobile and have really good things to say about them. Good call quality, reception/signal, and data rates are very affordable.

I just wanted to make & receive calls also so I switched to an AT&T GoPhone.
$25.00 for 250 minutes or 90 days, works for me, I'm not a phone slave.

I was in the mountains last Tuesday & actually got a call from a friend in Arizona.
I never was able to get service with T-Mobile up there in the mountains so I was very surprised to hear my AT&T ring.

My brother has had AT&T it was a great phone,,,,now since his girlfriend had boost he uses that too says it is as good as the at&t not quite as good coverage area but unless your going to some remote place it would be fine.
