Any recommendations?

I ask as I am thinking of getting wooden scales on my 2AB Barlow.

Its just to perfect as it is, I fancy something that will make it look more like a working knife and take some dings and knocks.

The other idea is to maybe try to swap it for a green canvas micarta version

Mine is the black and red linen micarta,it just to nice for me,but I want a stainless knife like this 😆

What do you think?

Here's mine, I sanded the badge etch from the blade and just use it. It will take years to show signs of use unless I choose to abuse it, but I have other knives for that, so yeah, it's kinda why I like knives with 440C blades and micarta handles.

I think you might be better getting the mod done in the USA There are certainly some UK custom makers who could do the work, but I think they're probably very busy making knives. Most of the other cutlers I wouldn't trust to do it, I don't think

I heard a story once, not sure if true or made up, but it was about a guy buying a brand new knife. It was said that the moment he left the store, he dropped said knife on the sidewalk on purpose, and when asked why? he replied, it's not new anymore so I can use it as I wish...
