I installed a radius platen, water cooled, and tried it out on this Sheffield SF100 steel in an S grind with a true convex edge.

Thanks! I am interested to see how the edge fares, here is a microscope pic trying to show the true, to zero, convex, with a light reflex, the graduations are mm so 0.0394 inch
