Hello,
I’m new on this forum even if I read it for a while now. I love knives since I was a little boy and I’m 43

The way I’m picking my knives are quite simple: 3oz max, blade length around 3’’, need to have a great action including a sound that I like and last but not least always shaving sharp!!
I’m carrying a knife every single day and using them every day for domestic tasks and work as well. (woodwork). I own about 20 knives actually but will put fews on sales soon just because I’m not using them Fro some reasons.
NOW:
The Ontario Rat 2 is one of my favourite knives to carry even if I have much more expensive knives. I won’t cry if I loose it, Action, shape, ergo are great etc… As anyone know.
BUT this plastic scales are just not for me!! Titanium one are great but I’m not in love with it. So I did some wooden scales for my self and friends and maybe planing to start a small production for customers. Those are handmade and I’m carving where the thumb is going to get a more confortable and easier opening than regular scale. They are also only right and tip up only as I think most people are carying there knives that way and it looks much cleaner. But that can be change.
Price would be probably between $40 to $50 Including shipping.
Picture with the Walnut wood was made for my father and the Wenge wood with the bleu resin is the knife I carry most of the days since 2 years now.
SO LOOKING FORWARD FOR YOUR INPUT.
David
