Presentation Hawk

[R APPLEBY]

Head is hand forged 1084/1095 steel with a screw on bowl, engraved, carved
and file worked and given an antique patina.
Handle is curly maple with a carved Fleur De Les, fittings are antiqued mild
steel.
Measurements; head with bowl is 7 1/8 with a 2 1/4 inch cutting edge, overall
length is 20 1/2 inches.

That is a really amazing 'hawk! Everything from the carving on the handle to the file work on the head is fantastic. What really sets it off for me is the Sun and Moon engraved on the blade. Stunning! :thumbup:
