After my "official" welcome at BirGorkha I presented the kamis with the gifts you sent and a few of my own. Here are some of the pictures with more to come.

All the leis and the large tika on my forehead are results of the welcoming activities. I'll post pix of the welcome later.

Uncle Bill, would it be possible for us to send small gifts directly to the kamis at BirGorkha? What, if any, obstacles would we have to deal with?

You can certainly send gifts directly and the only problem would be Nepali customs. Depends largely on the gift. And it is guaranteed that the gift will reach the kami to whom it is sent.
