Presidents knives.

Eisenhower seemed to prefer a small Case stockman or little pen, the story is a bit confusing.

Teddy Roosevelt had a sportsmans knife that looked like a sort of stag handle SAK.

Lyndon Johnson's gave away a lot of Victorinox classic's in black with the presidential seal on it. Ulysses Grant had a two bladed small jack.

Interesting thought, I don’t think that is a question that is usually asked but I would like to know the answer as well.

Truman had a two blade Barlow. I forget if Ulster or Utica.
Other than "It keeps falling out of my pocket, so make my trousers with deeper pockets!!!" I have not been able to find out what LBJ carried.

I figured Teddy would have like a huge hunting knife, but then and again he was a founding member of BSA

That is the coolest thing ever! And it's interesting to see that the Victorinox "package hook" is not a new idea at all. ;)

I don't know whether it's right or not but I've read that the hook on Jefferson's knife was likely a button hook for the buttons on shoes and clothing that were common at the time.

Also, no one seems to know for sure but speculation is that the round tool at the 7:30 position is a key for winding clocks.

Jefferson was known for liking gadgets so it isn't surprising that he would carry a tool like this.
