Presidents Series 110 Set

Has anyone purchased this series of 4 knives? I would like to know how the image is applied. Is it something durable or just an overlay? If you polished the brass, would the image rub off?

I was wondering the same thing about the images on these Buck 110's but it looks like nobody here on the forum knows either.

I've not read anything pertaining to these knives but most of these images are done by a silk screen process. The image will come off if polished with a buffing wheel and compound. DM
