Presidio 2 no love?

Just curious why there's not much about the presidio 2? I got one about 2 months ago and was blown away at quality and just awesomeness! Its a bit big for edc but doable. Feels super solid, any one else?
 
I like my Presidio 2 a lot. I know a few others have posted how much they like it. Personally, I still reach for my old 520 (and now also the 590) when I want that type of knife on my belt. I know many others prefer the new 570 to those models though.

for me personally, it has more to do with the blade missing the pardue mark. I'm sure it's a fine folder, but I'm unable to separate the model from the designer in this instance.
 
I have one, it's one of becnhmades best. Seriously solid knife. A dream knife of mine would be one like this but modeled after the 943, just a bigger, tougher 943 with that same pointy blade. Aluminum handles with steel liners are seriously underrated.
 
I personally would love to see a mini version of it! Cause it is big to carry in some situations but I have, would think a mini same solidness would be a perfect shorts version! Anyone agree, hint hint jimmy from benchmade! Lol
 
I'm on the fence for a Presidio II at the moment, so thanks for starting this thread Dallas T Dallas T . As M Mick_1KRR I love the steel liner & aluminum scales combo. Alu is light and just gets better with age imho (yes, I do love my trusty 940 with the original green scales). Also, the almost symmetrical drop point blade with the long swedge is quite sexy-looking to me (I actually prefer the 570 over the 520 in terms of looks)!

What holds me back at the moment is that I'm not sure whether it'll not be too big and bulky for me to be carried. I already went to my local dealer to check it out, but they didn't have it in store. I already have the Crooked River which I love because of its looks, but which is simply too big to be carried for me. So *if* I want to get the 570 I also want it to be used, and not gather dust in the drawer next to the CR!

The niche it would fill is as hard-use carry knife for when I feel that I need more than the 940 in my pocket. I don't worry too much about the weight but rather about the size and width of the 570. So I'd love to see some comparison shots of the Presidio II next to the 940 and/ or the Crooked River! (Alternatively, just some Presidio II porn would be nice too ;) ).

I bet you would.;) It would be a nice size as a mini.
 
If we follow Benchmade's golden rule that a great knife can be smaller too...I'd vote we'll see a mini P2.

To me it carries very well for its size! I do it with pants or shorts he k ive even stuck it in gym shirts waist band before.

That sounds promising... I need to get my hands on one to get a feel (and/ or look at some more comparison pics ;) )
 
Im trying to post some pics and if i can figure it out ill give some comparisons with my collection
 
I thought once the forum update was done that u didn't have to route pics thru another app and could just upload straight form ur phone?
 
I have the Presidio2, 940, and CR. Unfortunately I won't have time to take decent pics for a few days. If someone else would be so kind... I would also ask whoever is able to post pic comparisons, that they include an Adamas. I don't have one of those, but it's been on my list for awhile.

Also, I would LOVE to have a larger 940 style handle (like on the 928) with the 570 or 590 blade (plus Axis lock of course).
 
Ok so I altered my presidio 2 to give it a bit more of a drop point, just my personal preference so apologies if it's sacrilege to anyone :) here it is along side a few popular knives for comparison as requested.
