Does anyone else like these? I think they are Benchmades best bang for the buck and I own many of their knives.View attachment 1871086

Great knives! The large is a bit oversized for normal edc, imo, but the "mini" is excellent! Love the blade shape and comfortable, neutral ergos. I agree, one of the best values in the Benchmade lineup, hands down.. probably the best!

I have a handful of Benchmade kinves. This is the knife I pick up if I'm going to use it hard. Its a bit heavier, but not overly so, and it feels more rugged. I have a 940-1 and the s90v and I just don't want to make it do the heavy lifting. I am not hard on knives, but I have been known to do stupid things.

Agree with the OP. I have the full size one and i'll pick up a mini at some point.

Have both cf elite and one mini aluminum. Saw a post on FB about a cerakote cf elite scales. Never thought about that. Great knife, very underated.

The alum version looks great or even better (?) at least in pictures. But I read it is much heavier isn't it? Also wonder where the balance point of the knife is now that the handle is heavier than the cf elite.

Much heavier? I dunno, not sure of the actual numbers, but I will say this: I had two of the aluminum full size 570’s before I got one in CF Elite, and I still have the CF Elite.

It was heavier but I don't recall it being awful.

I've had one of each and I no longer have either. I really like the auto version they currently have and would carry that knife most days if it were a manual and serrated.

I use a Mini CF Elite almost exclusively now. I found the fullsize too large for edc. Could we convince BM to make one midsized between the two? ...Goldilocks Presidio

I like the large one it's a very good value. Fit and finish was excellent.

I have an original Presidio 525, a original Presidio Ultra 522, a Presidio II 570-1, and a Presidio II 575GY-2001. As you can see, I really like the Presidio. I like the size and the stainless steel lined handle for stiffness. And I prefer the aluminum scales.
