I want to donate a knife to benefit blade forum member GRADALL5200 son Evan. This will be in the form of an auction. The highest bidder at the end of the auction will receive the knife from me once the winner PayPals the money to GRADALL5200. At that point GRADALL5200 will contact me when he receives funds, then I will ship the knife to the winner. This auction will be in the "honor system". Please keep in mind what the money is going for.

THIS AUCTION WILL GO FROM NOW UNTIL 10:00 PM CST ON TUESDAY FEB. 12th.

GRADALL5200 PayPal is: jdsandeno@yahoo.com

I have a Press Button Knife Co. double blade automatic. It has a spear/pen blade combination with jigged bone handles and brass liners. The handle is in amazing condition. There is no shrinkage or cracks. Both blades deploy nicely and fully. In the closed position the tips of the blade are not exposed. There is minor side to side wobble in each blade when in the open position. Blades are very full and in good shape. No rust but there is nice patina to them. In the bigger of the two blades, there is a slight nick about halfway down on the edge of the blade. Overall this knife is in amazing shape for its age. NOT mint by any means, but very good condition.

It's very nice of you to do this but this can't be in the General forum. I'm moving this to JK's forum.

I will open at $50.

Nice knife, thanks Mr Freeze!

GRADALL5200's son Evan was recently diagnosed with leukemia. JK Knives started a raffle to raise money to help the family and the raffle prize was a set of knives made by JK Knives. Then a few other forum members started similar auctions/raffles. This is one of the knives I have that I thought would generate the most money for the family. I hope that the bids go higher, because its going to a great cause, and the knife is worth a lot more money than the current high bid. No money is going to me, and I will pay the shipping costs.

I bid $135.Speaking from experience this family is facing considerable expenses outside the direct cost of the treatment.Missed days at work, travel, meals away from home, deductibles,co pays for medicine, etcetera. All sorts of things that add up to cause additional worry a little cash could ease.

Congratulations to "PATRICKKNIVES"

Thank you to everyone who bid. This went to a great cause.
Thank you JK KNIVES for letting me post this on your forum.

"PATRICKKNIVES" there is an email on the way.
