Press Button Knife Co - Walden, NY

Hello All ! Helping a friend identify a knife ...It is an automatic with approx 4 1/2 in blade...Handle made of bone ...The words "Press Button Knife Co Walden, NY" apprear at the base of the blade ....I know that Press Button was a division of Walden Knives and George Schrade was founder but we need to find age, history, etc... Any help would be appreciated.

Is this your knife See pic if so made from 1895 until 1924 (approx ). From your description it sounds like this model if not send more info and I will post the correct picture. I took a page from my book if it is not clear enough please let me know and I will give whatever info you wish. While all of these knives are somewhat rare this one is the most common. Again the price quoted is 5 years ago and for the knife in the pic and is retail but this should help a bit.
