Press Button Knife made in 3,3/8" or 2,7/8" versions embossed sterling or nickle silver. This model is called Old Man Winter. ( picture is of a SATYR ) Often the other side would have an advertisment. ( example often found COMPLIMENTS OF HOME INSURANCE CO NY ) Should be marked PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO WALDEN NY US PAT 470605. Information from page 49 ( MY Book ) the collectors guide to Switchblade Knives . Press button was a division of Walden knife licensed by George Schrade. If memory serves they started in 1894 and ended in 1923. In 1903 Schrade sold his interest and patents and with his brothers opened up the Schrade knife company. ( NOTE if your model is sterling it will have SS on the blade. ). Value varies but if it functions correctly from the pics plus or minus 200 it depends on what is on the other side it could go twice that ( retail ) to someone who wants it. Condition looks good blades seem about 15 percent down. Scale looks excellant. This is a common version of the embossed handle some of the rare embossed models can bring upward to 1000. I hope this helps please let me know if I may assist further. LT

Thank you so much for your help. Yes, the image is the same on both sides and the knife works perfectly. Also, it is sterling silver. I don't know much about knives, but this one peaked my interest.
Thanks again. Kelso
