Pressure washer for the deck

I just bought one those electric pressure washers from HD. I plan to clean and seal my deck this weekend. How long should I wait between washing and sealing the deck? Any other tips?

go easy on the washing. you're going to remove a lot of wood and there will be splinters abounding. depending on weather, you will need to wait a few days, until the wood is completely dry. here in MS, that might be 3 days of 90+ heat and sun. probably a week in some other parts of the country.

You might just try Tide soap and a brush, and get a better surface.
