The other day I was flipping a bit, and came across a nifty-looking manipulation. I'm sure many of you have already come across this, but I thought I'd share all the same.
Start with a bite-handle rollover, but rather than rolling off to the side, roll the knife forward. Once you have the safe handle in your hand, do a "loose toss & catch" aerial. Now for the challenging bit. Rather than catching the knife in a forward grip as per usual, catch in an icepick grip (1/4 turn "early").
Be very careful, as the toss will have the knife airborne, and spinning and travelling towards to you slightly. I've found that catching at about shoulder-height is the easiest & safest point to catch, or about at the apex of the toss. Also, try & keep your hand pretty stationary to catch (resist the urge to bring your hand forward or down!!) or you could end up with a puncture-wound in the hip or groin. Even so, you're going to take it in the thumb a couple of times - tape your tip up!
This really looks great - lots of rotation, lots of "travel", and finishes with the unexpected reverse grip. I think I'll call it the "Roll & Toss of Doom." Or maybe "Larry." Yes. "Larry."

What's that - bag of tricks?
... Bag of knives!
... stomp and squish as required ...
