I just got two of these yesterday and darned if they don't look more pink or salmon color than a true orange. Is it just me?

LOL, yeah Dave, that looks a tad pinkish! I guess its just not a Blaze orange as the other pics posted so far. It just looks a tad "faded" maybe? Still looks like a great user! Smooth opening and ergonomic???

Yeah to both. It's a little stiff to open, but not like the Bantam. I should give these to the Girl Scouts and get black one's for the boys. :D

Molly Ringwald would love it!:p

I think they look great... you'll alway no where it at.... That's for sure....

I was just arguing with a friend about mine the other day! I was giving him a hard time about going to the store and buying a peach slushy, and he countered by saying that at least he doesn't carry a pink knife! I told him it wasn't pink, It was Flamingo! My wife says is't Salmon. Maybe it's Fushai (sp?) ! I still like it though. One heck of a knife!

I may have to get a orange and a black one.... Just in case it turns out to be flamingo or salmon, I'm not manly enough for that :D LOL

I will have to pick up a few of these for the grand kids before we hit deer camp this year! If I had bought one of these my granddaughter most likely would not have lost her Buck knife last year.

I will not order these on-line as I don't want a poor color variation like PBD got. I want bright orange (blaze orange) not a pinker variation. I do like the one that Oregon has and the price is right for a kids starter knife.

Hey Jim.....
For a guy with four kids, I would say you are manly enough for such a pinky!
Gotta get one or two for myself..................while supplies last!

Dave

I definately would not call it Blaze Orange, but I do like it.

Very colorful but I am glad I got a black one. Some day you should take a picture of it next to an orange, Dave.

I also was expecting an orange color, but alas it was more pinkish orange. It is still a bargain and a handy design.

Love it. That's sooo funny! "It's Not Pink! It's Flamingo!"
Don't know why that cracked me up so much. LOL. I'm losing it. It really does have that tint to it though... but it looks cool. Just gotta be tough enough for pink (or flamingo) as the saying goes. I kinda want one now.
