  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Pretty much…

When I was in my early 20s my aunt, uncle, and cousin came to visit from Germany. We were showing them around town and when we came upon the zipline across the Chattahoochee River my cousin and I decided we'd do it. When the last members of our group reached the landing platform on the far side, the guide announced that for some reason the gate surrounding the tower was zip-tied shut and we'd have to wait for some other employee to come let us out. Before I could offer, he looked at me and said "hey, you have a beard...do you have a knife?" I did, and my Ultratech made short work of the zip ties. That's how small of an obstacle the average person is unprepared to tackle, but it's nice to be able to help out.

Worked in metal fabrication for twenty years. Always carried a Kershaw Leek and/or a folding box cutter. Always thought it was funny, in situations where a knife was needed, people would pretend to pat themselves down for ten seconds, ashamed to admit that they didn’t carry anything, then make up some lame excuse “Oh I guess I don’t have mine on me today”.

Even the most worthless workers are mildly ashamed to admit they don’t carry a knife.

Is there a saying for someone who had 900 pocket knives in their sock drawer?

Asking for a friend.

Overachiever ..... hahha.

I was told since I was 8 years old..... That "A man carries a knife."
and pretty much did ever since.

-also told "Concealed means concealed."

Ironically I see more women with knives now than men. Lol.

I was never told to carry a knife, but the people I wanted to be like all carried knives.

Few and far between?

I’m sitting in a fast food joint for lunch right now, and I can see pocket clips on more than half of the guys in here.

I guess it may depend on where you live, but around here there is no shortage of guys with pocket knives.

Be careful eyeing folks's pocket clips they might think you're looking at something else! 😂
