Pretty sweet harness for your RMJ Shrike

Exactly which rig is that from the g-code website?

the uploader's notes/comments stated it was a one-off. I'd like to see them produce a more universal version, something that would fit a teklok spacing. It would make for an awesome platform for baldric style carry to moving it onto other gear.

The effort to post it into youtube tells me that they are ready to produce this according to request.
I'm game for one of this.
Will talk to Ryan about this.

The rig is mine, and its freakin awesome! I simply noticed how the rti clip from one of my holsters was a perfect fit to the rmj sheath, so I made a request to my friend jesse at g code for a simple shoulder strap attachment for my shrike (in fact my original plan was just to modify a molle dapter they already produced to fit a shoulder strap). He really took it to a whole new level!

It is a one off, created for me based on my discussions with jesse. But based on the response I've gotten from both G-code, Ryan Johnson, and rmj owners, I wouldn't be surprised at all if more of these get made.

I'll hopefully get a chance to show ryan the rig in a few weeks at BLADE show :)

It fits our scabbard already so it probably does fit the 0.75" grid spacing that the teklok and many other (RMJ RUMP, Bawidamann PUP, Blackhawk etc..) adapters use. I can't wait to see it at Blade - if it tests out well we will incorporate it into our offerings. We will begin carrying the Bawidamann PUP this summer as well.

Carryability (my made up word) is the name of the game. If you can't carry it, you can't use it.

I would question the lock in method, just flip a little switch and it comes off?
Just looking from here it seems a good way to loose and axe?
Is there a trick to the release or does it just slide about 3/8" and come off?

It takes a very deliberate action to unlatch it. You must pinch two small tabs together, then push them both into a recess simultaneously. I have zero concern about it accidentally becoming unlatched.... To Reengage the lock however, you simply depress the tab on the opposite side.
