preventing loss...

I just got a small Sebenza as a gift. (Lucky me!) Even 'though I'm used to carrying expensive folders, I'm nervous about losing this one. I prefer to use the pocket clip, rather than a belt sheath. Has anyone come up with a simple way to secure the knife in case it falls out of your pocket? Right now I'm looping the lanyard string around my belt, but it's really too short.

Fred :D

When I kept in in my back pocket they would occasionally slide out and or rip car seats. I always keep them front right. No problems for me in that position.

Congratulations on your new seb! I keep my small regular clipped to my right front pocket. It seems to be pretty secure there.

Now I did lose my first sebenza while carrying it in this manner, but I blame a combination of carelessness and low-rise trousers (pockets are too shallow, knife falls out) for that particular incident. :p

Left front for me with very little problems. Occassionally they will catch on the seatbelt but luckily I haven't lost one yet! Carry it and use it. If you lose it it will give you and excuse to buy a more expensive one.:D

I guess I'm still in that "new parent" stage. My wife got a smudge on the handle yesterday and I saw her in an entirely different light...

Congratulations, and please carry, use, and enjoy the knife.

I’ve never had any problem carrying my Sebbie in my front right pocket, but I prefer to carry it in a CRK leather pouch. For me, it’s a more comfortable option.

I carry mine in waist band, with my belt over the clip. The only possible way for it to catch or fall out is pulling my pants down in the washroom :D

I carry my small in my pocket, with the clip removed, and with the clip insert installed. It has always stayed there. The small is so light,I was afraid it would come unclipped, and I would never know.

Hey e1, new Sebenza owner for a couple of weeks now. I really like how the belt clip is designed. It has that extra bend in it about 1/4" from the top of the clip that just fits most of my Carhart and Wrangler work pants. It really seems to lock it in to my pocket. It is the little things like that that make it easier to not worry about loosing my CRK! Thanks, Wj
