I just bought a Squire and a 55. Everything about them is great, except for the bolsters. The brass seems to tarnish no matter how long (or short) I hold them, and it's really frustrating.
Yes, I can use simichrome polish and it will look just like new, but using simichrome after every use is very irritating. Is there anything I can put on the brass to keep from tarnishing? My wife recommended clear nail polish, but as my 110 showed, the nail polish peels off within a few minutes of sweat contact.
Any ideas?
