Here you go.Bruce forged the Damascus I did the guard handle and sheath, then Bruce B. has done all the hand sanding then the final fit and glue up and polishing on the knife...Now he has delivered it to the engraver so he can really dress it up for us..
Please let us know what you guys think.
Bruce
Ivory handle and the rest of the handle is Nickel silver and so is the whole sheath..Blade is 9 inches of Bruce B.'s awesome mosaic Damascus also.

Another big idea! SF Bowie with a long blade. You guys blow me away, that's cool as all getout. Just being selfish here, I'd like to see higher-res pics of that beauty. Bruce E, any plans on tutorials for the silver sheath and handle like this one? I'd like to think there's a SF knife in my future, but I've no clue how to do either of those... That's fantastic, please do more of this stuff!

Dave

Very nice work guys. But it seems to be missing something. Donna perhaps? Probably only way to make that knife look better would be if Donna were presenting it.:D
I am surprised that I haven't seen more long bladed Price Daggers. Was this type of knife generally worn concealed, so that'a why most specimens were shorter? Very well done guys, you make a good team.

When the engraving is done we will get some better pictures taken of this knife,These were taken before it was put together and polished up and the Blade etch was done to Bruce B. high standards...I can't wait to see this one finished myself..I am doing another carbon bladed one for myself now,to use in my Journeyman smith judging this year...
Dave,The sheath tutorial is being worked on now.Lots of pic's to resize and post up,so please be patient with me.
Bruce

Cant wait to see the final product

Bruce X 2 :D
Excellent job.
I have one question...
Will the sheath get a little engraving too?
In my eyes, it just begs for it.
What's next?
Oh, that's 2 questions

Just beautiful guys. I'm with Gouge. It's bad enough that you two make me sick one at a time but now I'm getting a double whammy!:D

Ebbtide. The sheath, the wrap around the handle, the edge of the wrap, the shield, and the two high edges of the guard should all get some kind of engraving...Bruce B. dropped it off yesterday with some pictures of older Bowies like this as guidance and ideas for the engraver to go by..I can't wait to see what he comes up with myself.
Thanks for all the awesome comments everybody..
Bruce E.

Dang, you guys have raised the bar again! I'll never ketch up now

Awsome, that is just to cool for words. I cant' wait to see it finished, and a higher rez photo.

This knife has been fun and a long time in the making. We started planning it back in August of last year. This is the 2nd blade for it, I threww the first one in the boo boo box.

We had Marking Methods make 2 matching stencils one for Bruce on one side and one for my name on the other side of the ricasso.

Tom Moro is doing the engraving while it is still dissasembled. The sheath is a work of art. Bruce is very talented at making metal sheaths now. I cant wait to read his tutorial on the subject.
