Really neat game. You play Tommy, (Domasi) a Cherokee Indian mechanic. Tired of reservation life, he, along with a lot of other people, is abducted by bad, human eating aliens.

He must learn the "old ways" to survive. These include "spirit walking" where he leaves his physical body and travels through force fields on the HUGE alien space ship.

He has a spirit guide, Talon the hawk, that helps him find his way and also attacks and distracts Tommy's enemies while Tommy blasts them. His grandfather, Enisi, helps him also.

His girlfriend Jen prays to the "Great Spirit" Unequa when she is also captured

When Tommy gets killed, he goes to the "Spirit World" and then rejoins his body as he comes back to the space ship.

Every so often he finds a radio broadcast with Art Bell talking about aliens. In a strange bit of synchronicity I was just emailing a good friend about who is Art Bell? I am not up on "alien abduction."

Anyhow there are a variety of critters that fall beneath Tommy's "magic bow' (only availiable when he is "spirit walking,") and the various weird alien weapons he picks up along the way.

There are also strange "wind walking" pathways that turn gravity everywhichway but loose!

I have no idea if ANY of this is factual as regarding the Cherokee beliefs or customs. I certainly hope it is not disprespectful to them.

I'm still holding off on getting a 360 until they release a real killer game that shakes things up and gets fence sitters to take the plunge.

Sounds like fun, Bill. I have a 360 in my future. Two buddies have bought their's in the last couple of weeks. However, with the wife just starting back to work and a belated honeymoon trip coming up in October, I just won't have the $$$ for the 360 until the price drops in Novemeber (or so they say).

I'm told the Ghost Recon game is fantasitc for multi-player. Also, Gear of War is coming out in October. Probably the flagship for the 360. My buddies also said, and this will be of great interest to the Cantina, that Dead Rising is fun. That's a game where you spend 72 hours trapped in a mall....fighting zombies;):D
