Hey guys what’s a good price to list a demko ad20.5 aus10 with goat Ti scales and backspacer, have original packaging and clip but not scales…

Yeah these goat scales cost $189 new though and that’s just for the scales….

I'm aware. Just saying what I saw for the stock one. You probably won't get feel price for the combined costs. Just have to list it for what you want.

As it's ~$340 retail for the knife and scales, maybe in the $250-275 range? How is the quality of the Goat scales?

I guess as point of reference you can buy a factory 20.5 with smooth titanium for $325 and textured titanium for $375. A lot depends on Goat vs. Factory scales and yours has a steel downgrade from 3V to Aus10.

At this time the smooth scales are sold out but I believe they indicated they’d make future runs. Basically you have to compete with a factory run knife at $375.

Personally, I’d go higher. The AD20.5 is a hot knife and continues to be out of stock. As my old boss used to tell me, “if it doesn’t sell, you can drop your price. If you sell too low, you can’t get the money back”.

I’d start at $300 and go from there. Maybe even $325.

Been trying to sell a 20.5 3V with RGT Micarta scales also installed a LynchNW clip and Skiffs. Knife is mint, got $300 in it, listed it for $260 no takers, listed again at $240 no takers so will end up listing it again with another price drop when the 14 day re-listing period is up. Good luck with your sale.

I have read that the titanium version of the AD20.5 does not have liners. It's an all titanium frame. I think that is nice. It is supposed to be a little different than the regular AD20.5. I notice the pivot pin is different, at least as far as looks. Can someone verify this and also shed more light on the matter ?

It probably is something to consider when choosing between the regular and titanium versions of the AD20.5
