s-l1600 (1).jpg I just pulled the trigger on this one.Been away from Busse knives for awhile,but getting back into it.
Could use some help on current value.Thanks in advance.

BTW,I will need a sheath.Kydex? or leather? cost is a factor.I like Kydex with Tek-Lok,but I am afraid of Kydex marks on the blade.Any opinions ?

I believe there were a few in the early round of grab bags this times. Those should have the Shop price visible in their pics. If memory serves, ACK had one listed for somewhere around $400-$425 a little over a month ago. It was in unused condition. Don't take my word as gospel, as I'm still quite green.

These are original values. Current value can be higher or lower...supply and demad.....As a buyer, any value at original Busse pricing is good, even if it lightly used. Inflation is big on Busse models no longer made.... it seems like maybe 20 bucks a year lol....so if you really need it...400ish is about right....depending on what day it is, your timeing and patience in your search. It can be a lot cheaper

A kydex sheath is the way to go. Will not cause rust on a satin blade, easy to clean, light, does not hold moisture. A well made kydex will have no rattle and have more carry options. I find leather scratches more because grit gets in there and you can't get it out. Leather sheaths are much cooler though!

Thanks a ton F'lar, for taking the time to do the research and reply.This is my 2nd BATAC.I had the original back in 07.I missed it and I like the finish on this one.I am pretty sure this is an older one.I don't know the thickness yet,but I am liking my early morning score.

For kydex David or Al will set you up nice. For leather Chad Pritle, Patriot and Armorlleather. Also check with Azulu he's doing some fine looking work with lighter weight lleather, I also like joufuu's work and he might have something suitable for it now (no wait)

Gonna try David or Al for a kydex. Gonna try to find joufuu for the 'no wait' leather.
