I'm going to post most or all of these for sale here, and would very much appreciate any advice on pricing. Model #s include links to retailers so there's no confusion what knife/model I'm talking about:

Paramilitary 2
C81GPBK2
CPM S30V
Used, very good to excellent condition, original edge

Paramilitary 2
C81GPDBL2
S110V
New in box

Paramilitary 2
C81GPBL2
M390
New in box

Para 3
C223GPOR
CTS XHP
New in box

Para 3
C223GPBL
M390
New in box

Native 5
C41PSBBK5
S35VN
Used, very good to excellent condition, original edge

Zero Tolerance 0350OR
ZT0350OR
S30V
Excellent condition
(I'm second owner. Not sure it's ever even cut anything. Looks new in box except for tiny bit of printing on blade worn down, probably from previous owner flipping?)

IMO / ballpark...

Paramilitary 2 CPM S30V - $120

Paramilitary 2 s110v - $160

Paramilitary 2 m390 - $300

Para 3 XHP - $225

Para 3 m390 - $250

Native 5 - $90?

ZT - who cares!

Well, FWIW, for any knife that is still available for sale from dealers, if you want to sell them here on the Exchange, I'd suggest discounting the street price of the knife by at least 10-15%. Your price on the Exchange would be expected to include any processing fees and the cost of shipping.

On EB, you can add the cost of shipping on top but not here. Then again their listing/selling fees on EB are quite high and if you use PP those fees also apply. So, discounting below a level that you'd like on the Exchange could still turn out more profitable than selling on EB. Since ACZ charges a 25% fee to sellers plus shipping, there's no reason to sell there unless you have a really high priced knife w/a lot of margin in it.

For any knife that's been discontinued or not otherwise available for sale, I'd consider the pricing on EB & ACZ of knives ACTUALLY sold as indicative of their current value. Easy to research recent past sales on EB but a bit of a PITA to research past sales on ACZ. I'd discount the price of the knives sold on EB by about 10-15% and on ACZ by 25-30%, if you'd choose sell them on Exchange here, because that's about what the sellers net there.

These suggestions, of course, are based on the assumption that you want to price the knives to actually sell them. If you have higher price points in mind, it costs nothing to list them on the Exchange to see if someone will pay it but, if not, it may be better to try to sell them elsewhere.

As for orange knives, which I know some people love (but that I don't), you'd have to discount the price by at least 50% of the original MSRP for me to even consider it and, even then I still wouldn't buy it. LOL! ;)

It was just a little Spyderco sub forum jab.

Understood but other fans of ZT, like me, might be quick to take offense at such a remark, even if they don't own as many of them as I do.

ZT > Spyderco 😁
The 0350 is very common but I’ve only ever seen 1 other orange version, it might be worth about $200+ to someone.
