how much should a satin gladius with leather sheath go for? real world sold price. Itchin to get some bacon.

Sheaths I'd say a couple hundred bucks. Only satin I'veseen are custom shop. Busse is valuing them at least 2k I'll have to look at the black friday post

thanks Murman. agree on $200 for sheath. looks like ebay had some good deals.

I honestly haven't seen many move publicly. This one and a mammoth that ruckiza bought for $2500 to resale in China.

Seen em go 4 - $1800-2400 depending on condition and sheath. I think the one on exchange now is beautiful. Wish I had funds available . Edit)to make an offer.

The Satin ones are seldom listed. The one linked above is nice - it isn't a custom shop, but it might as well be with the custom work that was done to it.

Also, not all leather sheaths are created equal. The value really depends on the maker / brand. Kydex are typically a lot less expensive. They get more expensive when you start adding exotic skin inserts or danglers and whatnot. Some lock at the grip like a knife sheath. The Armorall leather one I have actually locks in through the 2 Busse Talon holes and snaps in place - a really slick design. It looks like it took a while to make, but I've been impressed by most of the Armorall leather sheaths I've owned/used. Of all the Gladius sheaths I've seen, its probably my favorite design.

If you're looking for Cheapest option - you could always wait around for a fairly priced coated one and send it off to be stripped... Not sure how that will end up looking, but you might get lucky with little to no gremlins.

I searched for months for one in the US and never found one for sale aside from Lui Kang's wares... The market on the Gladius has never been soft. The market on the satin models has been even less soft. Murman has probably bought and sold most of the ones I've seen for sale recently, and that's only a couple of them. The one's Busse has listed recently were gone as soon as they were made available and they were also priced very high. These are expensive and typically a grail item and seldom pop up for sale. In the past 2 years, I think I've seen 5-6 privately sold, and I believe 2 of them were the same one that went twice.

I've seen the Combat Grade go for 1000-1400, with most being at 1300-1400.
That customized/stripped combat grade is priced at 1700.
All of the CS Satin Blades I've seen go for like 2k-3.2k.

The market was softer back in like OCT/NOV when ppl were burning through cash and saving for the Holidays. Prices typically creep back up during tax season as refunds pour back in and people have more disposable income.

If you are after a "deal", I would seriously go the DIY route and pick up a coated one, and wait until you find one for 1000-1200 and spend some time with it making it look the way you want it to look.

good advice. I have never saw three gladius on the exchange unsold before. that is why I thought the market was soft. and why I wanted a price check. thank you all. all advice is appreciated.

The Market is soft ! It’s definitely a buyers market. Unless you have something very special and highly desirable.

Full disclosure - I have an interest in selling coated gladius.

Honestly, you can probably find another nice satin cs version for sale over the next few months. I talked to the seller of the mammoth and it was a shop credit black Friday bonus. There are a few more that went to folks who bought 20k shop credit. They're likely to let a couple go.

So, if you can have $2500 + ready, cgech the buy sell constantly, and beat the heavy buyers who frequently buy choice blades and resell them in China, you might score one. Otherwise I'd go with spurst.
