Collectibles In Mint Condition
All three items in mint, unused condition.
Have both very rare satin and black Benchmade 710s with aluminum (not G-10) handles from late 90s (one of each). As good as new. Both are as new as if in store and just removed from boxes. Are Pre-Production items and numbered. Never used (except on arm hair a few times --- very sharp), never sharpened, and made more than 10 years ago and not since. ATS-34 steel is American 154cm. Very good steel that became too expensive for American companies due to Japanese tariffs. (Was used by many custom makers.) Items are in perfect condition and QC is excellent on both items. No serrations. $350 for the extremely rare black blade (#327) --- the value will only go up as the economy improves and dramatically so when Benchmade stops making the 710. It is also an excellent knife and I believe the first Benchmade axis locks ever made. Offers a better grip than the BM G-10 in my opinion and that of others. Superb fit & finish. Original owner. Almost impossible to find in new condition over ten years after it was made. $299 for the satin blade (#175). Pre-Production stamped as are others. Very popular among Benchmade fans. Value will also only go up.
(Have original box for first item --- aluminum handles.)
(Have original box for second item; all items look better in my opinion in person, especially the satin finish knife --- aluminum handles)
Third 710. A brand new M2HS steel G-10 (no serrations again) black bladed model. Built more than 10 years ago but perfect and like new. M2HS steel is rare and coveted by Benchmade fans. Some say its edge holding is not bettered. More importantly, as with the top two, many say Benchmade's fit and finish on the 710 was better than it has been since. G-10 handles. Also Pre-Production with #256. Benchmade gave up on it as it was too hard for its equipment to cut. Is new and never used except for arm hair once or twice. Never sharpened. Lacks box and clip is only 99%, not 100% (conservatively), so knife may be a strong 99% not 100% (in the interest of conservatism). Otherwise, 100% as are the others which were only yesterday removed from their boxes. $250, including very nice Elishewitz folder case instead of Benchmade box. Very good, very rare steel even today. (Similar to M4.) Fit and finish are top notch as with the other two. As with others, very difficult to find in virtually mint, unused condition. Excellent fit and finish. Value will only go up as already almost impossible to find in this condition. More so when 710s completely taken out of production.
I am not a dealer. Had a successful sale about three weeks ago on BF and positive feedback. If you are in any way a dealer or flipper, let me know or no deal. No straw buyers, unless you tell me so and for whom. I reserve the right to exit a deal for any of the above knives.
(Instead of original box lost during move, Elishewitz nylon knife holder included; I am the original owner of all three items and all three are in LNIB condition)
Ship to CONUS only. Shipping costs, including insurance, paid by seller. US Postal Money Order only. Instructions will be exchanged in good faith. All items quickly sent. Trade/cash combos possible if allowable by BFs. Thank you.
