I was checking out the local more-expensive knife store this evening, in preparation for my trip to the gun show in Denver on Saturday.

I noticed the BM stuff, like the Pinnacle ($150) & Osborne 940 ($170) were awfully high (retail) and available for a LOT less online,
while the William Henry CF-12 ($229) and Large Sebenza ($345) compare quite favorably with the best Internet sites. I read somewhere the Chris Reeve doesn't allow dealers to discount. Is this true of William Henry as well?

My guess would be that WH Knives and CRK have a lower mark up than most other manufacturers, making it harder to discount them. Also they are in demand, and if you can get retail for them, why discount. It may not be good for us buyers, but that's the way it goes.

Keith.
