Hi guys,

I placed an order for a DT ladder blade for my mnandi prior to the recent price increase. My blade just became ready and i'm hoping that CRK will honor the price prior to the change. The only problem i'm having is I can only find the new price and I don't know what the cost was previously. Any help would be appreciated.

cheers,

Kyle

I don't know about Mnandis, but I think a Sebenza Damascus reblade will cost $300 ish, so I would think the Mnandi reblade will cost somewhere around $250. Just a guess.

Back in '09, replacement Sebenza blades were $270 - $295 depending on the type. I would imagine that Raindrop and Ladder were $270, with Spirograph being the $295.

Can't help you with the price for a replacement Mnandi blade.

I ordered a damascus blade for a Mnandi at BLADE this year. I can't actually remember exactly how much I was quoted but I seem to think it will be about $300.

About two or three years ago I ordered a Small Ivory Sebenza with a Damascus Blade. It took a year and mean while the prices went up. CRK honored the former price.

They told me that when they placed the order in the computer that it would be for the price at that time. So yes they will honor the previous price.
I would say prepare to pay $300 but it will probably be a little less.

I spoke with heather earlier today and she confirmed that they received my knives that I sent in to them. I was particularly relieved as I shipped them from Alberta, and had never previously shipped anything over the border before... let alone knives! Heather advised me that ill receive a call from them once the work has been completed. In addition to my bark ivory mnandi getting the blade upgrade, I also sent in my small micarta 21 (my edc user and first ever CRK) for a full spa treatment. I can't wait for them to get back to me and Ill be sure to post pics when they do.
