There's a brand new 1994 Large Sebenza at a local knife shop. It has all paperwork, warranty, etc. The blade is hollow ground AT-34 and is polished shiny. I handled the knife and it's built like a tank.

Is $399 too steep? I almost walked out the door with it...

AT current prices that's a pretty good deal. Originally back in 1994 the retail price might have been a bit less. Probably more like $300

I like ATS-34 and they gave it a very polished blade and opens wayyyyy smoooth. If you don't mind ATS-34, jump on it.

Original ATS-34 sebs don't come up that often.

Guys,

My wife has a new digital camera and she's out of town right now.

When she gets back I'll have her teach me how to use it.

It's a great knife... can't believe it went unsold all these years... it seems the store "lost" it out of sight until recently.

If only it had a pocket clip...

Thanks.

Pre pocket clip? Excellent, even earlier. Does it have a number or anything beside the CRL logo on the side?

Where's the pix???
Send it to me, and I'll photograph it for you!

I saw you other thread, so you have an large early production number 230, ATS-34, polished blade, no clip.

That's an excellent catch, and to echo the other thread, I would leave it as is and pick up another more recent vintage for use. :)
