The following is true, although the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

Intro.: I asked my girlfriend if she wanted to go to a weekend wilderness survival school in Maine. She said, Yes. I told her a fixed blade knife was a requirement for the class, and that I would take care of acquiring the two knives fo each of us. She said, fine.

And so I offer:

Weekend survival school for two, in Maine:..............$240.00

Walking in the bedroom and seeing your girlfriend "Matter of Factly" cutting the tag off her new skirt with a KaBar:....................Priceless.

I've a story similar. Years and years ago when I first started riding I of course carried the Buck 110 as any good biker did. Well that or an EZ out. Well gave my wife a stilleto to carry in her purse. It was a lock back type and not inexpensive but well not an arm and a leg either. I did sharpen it for her to a razors' edge.:) She was working at a large film manufacturing company at the time and I was a printer going through an appreniticeship.

Well she is in the cafateria of said establishment when she bought a grapefruit for part of her lunch. She is sitting with all her anal friends and whips out the knife to cut her grapefruit. The people about shit according to her. The guys actually thought it was cool and the women she said were not to amused. But then again this a chick that when I would pick her up on Fri. p.m. in the summer to go ride and hang out would wear a halter she made out of the back pockets of a pair Lee jeans. So women like this can be found! keepem sharp
 
Sure beats seeing my wife trying to pry the top off of a jelly jar with my Spyderco KOPA with a Coral handle.
 
You better hide that spydie, and leave a few cheap knives lying around; if you can stand the sight of them.
 
hahaha, I figured you all would appreciate that story. She was like, I don't know what you are making such a big deal about. I said, I guess it's a guy thing. We are going to the weekend in May, I'll take some photos, G-rated though, haha.
