I'm sorry for your loss, but having a keep sake definitely helps keep them in your memory.
This is a 15 from one of the earliest batches of gec knives Ive bought when I got into the hobby. It came as a two blade that was a like new or a light user at the time that I got from
LastRodeo
Since I love single blade knive clip 15s with end caps, I had the pen deleted.
Was never able to find another one as if I love a knife enough, Id buy two, one to use and one to store. However, never having found a second, I kept it in the collection for fear of losing it.
Many of the old timers remember
BigBiscuit
and we knew him as Bob. Bob liked to work on knives and also loved the 15 pattern. Hearing of my plight, he gifted me this wonderful single clip 15 that he replaced the ebony scales on with a darker chunkier set.
Unfortunately Bob is no longer with us and this gift has become priceless to me in its sentimental value as it would be irreplaceable.
Eventually,
LastRodeo
offered me another 15 that was modified by Bob, which I had one more modification done with a donor clip blade from a fantastic 2018 GEC rendezvous to produce this, my go to grab and go 15. He was suppose to make it to that rendezvous as many forum friends from around the country and world gathered, but alas he was already too sick.
In loving memory of Bob,
