prices MFS vs. AD, SA, HT?

Howdy. Just researching my nest Strider. Can anyone tell me the difference between the MFS and the others, say the AD. The price of the MFS is $50.00 less than the others. I noticed the abscence of a didtinct choil on the MFS, but why the price diff? Is the blade thinner? Also, is the kydex sheath multi-position/adjustable? Thanks.

The blade on the MFS is thinner than the AD's 1/4" blade. I have the AD and my co-worker has an MFS. The weight is almost identical but the MFS is a hairline heavier. The Teklock on both kydex sheaths are multi-positionable.

Thanks for your help guys, I was just wondering about the price, and I have it from Mick that it is because of blade thickness and finish differences. I guess it really doesn't matter, because my new Mt is on it's way!!!! :D
 
I just can't let any mention of the AD go without my throwing in my less-than-two-cents. Until recently, the AD was the only Strider I owned (I broke down and got an AR). It's small (i.e. concealable) but very mean and it hurts bad people very much. It saved my life and, as I've often said here, I wouldn't trade my personal AD for a car (but don't let that stop you from trying). And don't let $50 stop you from getting what, in my humble opinion, is Strider's greatest creation.
 
All right, Kshurika, you have convinced me.... It'll be an AD next. I like 'em anyway. Thanks for your help guys.

From my understanding, Strider has ceased the creation of the AD. It's nearly identical twin, the SA is still rolling. You may want to look at that as well. Some places may still have the AD in stock if you call or e mail them. I know Mike @ badassknives www.badassknives.com has an SA with green cord.
