IIRC the cheapest version, Combat Grade (coated) with canvas micarta was $327 + $15 for shipping. G10 scales were an upgrade

When we offered them on our website machine ran handle combat grade started at $327.00, Hand Shaped was $387.00 G-10 was a additional $60.00. LW was $597.00

Hope that helps:)

Lunde is correct, although if you could find one today for $697 you would be lucky.

Yea, they are impossible to get, nobody posts them for sale, you gotta really know somebody:thumbup:
I wonder how many were made in the LE? As for the production of the CG, I think most people will agree, it's a great knife! Probably one of the best overall, and yea, I know that is debatable, lots of people love the ASH1.

I had no idea at the time, but my NMSFNO ended up starting what has become a mild obsession.

I didn't even know what the color was called when I picked up my Bama Clay NMSFNO at Blade Atlanta, but I knew I was drawn to that knife...

Now it's my favorite color hands-down, and I have seen very few other NMSFNO's in that color since then. I'm not sure if the color made me love the knife, or the awesomeness of the knife made me a fan of the color by association, but I know I want a lot more to match

When sharpened up right, the NMSFNO is a simply awesome camp blade, and the extra charge for hand-shaped micarta handles was absolutely worth it. One of the best buys I've ever made.

I agree it's a beautiful knife, I have the le and the edge is amazing

I almost wish I had a hand-shaped my handles. But judicious use of some sandpaper and I'll get the same effect. . . provided I keep mine. I go back and forth on it a lot. Arrgghh!!!
