Pricing on Busse's line

I was pretty surprised by the prices I've seen on Busse knives when I went over to Sharper Instinct! They seemed low to me. When some knifemakers are doing ATS-34 and Micarta handles with a beadblast finish and the OAL is 8" and the price is $250, then the price on one of the new Battle Mistresses is really competitive, IMHO! I don't own any Busse's, and with the number of fixed blades I already have I probably never will, but I like seeing all the Variant pictures, and I like Jerry's work because it seems to be endorsed by the right folks and suffers from (a little) less hype.

Thanks for contributing your observations Chiro...they are correct.

It should also be noted that Busse Combat Knives go through more hours of heat treating and tempering than just about every other knife maker's or manufacturer's product...which is a considerably expensive process and the price still remains affordable. It's a real blessing to the knife consumer to have such a great product available at such a great price.
